Amr:
Barak’s Unilateral Separation Policy
An
Expression of Fiasco
Mr.
Nabil Amr, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs stressed that the unilateral
separation policy, which the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak cherishes,
is an expression of the failure rather than an attempt to demonstrate
success.
“
Israel’s pursuit of such a procedure is a desperate attempt to organize
the occupation, safeguard and protect the settlement policy, and to continue
its collective punishment measures directed against the Palestinian people,
the Palestinian liberation organization (PLO), and the Palestinian National
Authority (PNA)”. He affirmed that all facts and indicators demonstrate
the inevitable failure of such a racist policy. Adding that: “ The problem
of Israel occupation cannot be solved by arranging and enhancing its fist,
but rather by the evacuation of this occupation from occupied territories
in compliance with political formulas based totally and in accordance
with resolutions of international Legitimacy.
Amr
explained that “Israel has tried through out the recent decades all the
tools it has to subjugate the Palestinian people, or to impose phony compromises,
which ended in complete fiasco, for Israel has discovered that its entire
military, economic might backed by its allies couldn’t afford her peace
and security.”
Amr
who was addressing a political orientation course for Palestinian cadres
in memory of the late leader “ Salah Khalaf- Abu Iyad “ - that was held
at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and in coordination
with the Palestinian General Intelligence Service- Political Orientation
Department-stressed that the magic solution for the crisis of Israel lies
in Israel’s victory on itself : i.e. Israel should acknowledge the inevitability
of withdrawing from the Palestinian territories that its occupied in 1967
war with Jerusalem in the forefront, and of course , Israel should end
its occupation of the Lebanese and Syrian Lands.
Referring
to the upcoming Israeli election, in his interposition, Mr. Amr said “
It is the destiny of the Israeli people to be cornered between the hammer
of the bad and the anvil of the worse, and this situation reflects the
depth of the general crisis in Israel, and the failure of the Right and
the Left in Israel in steering and defining the practical destination.
